  1. Use only scouts if your gunship weapons are good and scouts are level 30+, they will survive and stop less, impalers are not at their range unless the troops run into them. Is surviving is the issue, use whatever assaults you have there, the highest level, regardless rarity. Specially if you have M249, they can handle a hit or two ;-)
  2. I got it yesterday, it took me 5 months. Added 10 more levels to each of my 7.62, RKT120 and 40/70 and that made the difference... by less than a second!
  3. Yeah, I can relate with the times for crates, loot nerf and rarity drops, been playing since February during beta. And yes, I live since past year in Zürich actually, but never been to Minnesota. Closest I've been was Raleigh, NC. Or when the Vikes beat the Steelers in London in 2013 (went with a Steelers bunch, crazy people, so fun). Plenty of places yet to see!
  4. Use the link that Nikko provided above with your in game name and a screenshot of the event completion. Also check whether or not do you get ad rewards as they also go to the Messages.
  5. Check your Workshop, maybe you have the weapons already there?
  6. I totally feel your frustration. Just that if you try the events, note that crates that are not in the Armory (either bought with gold or via even reward on Messages) they open instantly and do not require any empty slot in the Armory.
  7. Same here. I guess the tutorial goes somewhere in there?
  8. It is, I don't even think a maxed legendary AC20 can take the titan down in one single shot, definitely a small burst but a single shot, phew, that's to be very precise lucky. Gunship snipers are only good against titans, and you won't have more than 10 in any map in any difficulty as of now, yet it doesn't harm to use one, specially if your troops are not strong enough, until you can boost your rockets and missiles and drop an epic or legendary AC and ground troops can take care themselves.
  9. In short: all those with a small MAX instead of a level number on the weapon card, bottom left corner.
  10. Not a direct correlation as power also takes into account overheat, radius, number of salvoes or fire rate, cooldown, rarity, etc. If I were you, I would boost ASAP the blue 7.62 to level 50 and one of the blue CAN 40MM/60 and the blue 4 star RPG. Too bad that you only have 4 common shotguns. Boost and equip as soon as you get one blue, purple or gold. But if the demo squad works for you, that's OK. Not the high damage, but assault weapons make the trooper stronger, very convenient if surviving those 30 secs until evac is hard, use one or 2 of those guys. I would personally get rid of all green 3 stars, but perhaps wait until you have open some more crates. Boost also the level 1, 1 star greys, they are cheaper and useful as fodder to fuse with better weapons. Definitely keep everything blue, purple or gold, and do not just scrap all 1 star or 2 stars as they will work to fuse with any other weapon that might drop. EDIT: oh, and for replying it takes some time if I remember correctly, maybe a couple of days.
  11. Close the door and drop the mic! Oh, drop the bomb, what gives!
  12. Word. Even if you just want to focus on the kills, stop the troops just at the beginning, you will be defeated but the kills will count anyway. Call me lazy
  13. This time with less kills, rewards as follows: Bronze: 500 kills, 1x common crate Silver: 2100 kills, 2x common crate Gold: 5500 kills, 1x common crate and 1x elite crate Platinum: 10100 kills, 1x common crate and 2x elite crate Diamond: 20500 kills, 2x common crate, 2x elite crate and 1x premium crate Tell us your luckies drops here! Mine: rare CAN 30.
  14. fuse

Thanks for the feedback! Will include it
  15. fuse

Guys, Since I have been replying to the question "what is fusing?" or "how to fuse" like a hundred times, I have recently created a series of small FAQs for the in-game community hub (it limits posts to 1000 chars) about the Workshop, how to FUSE and related. I post them here should they be of any help to readers, and even @Nikko as devs are creating a better guide, and of course to get your feedback and correct or improve when necessary. Here are the Qs and As as posted originally, so any typos would still be there: Q1: Do I lose the weapons I fuse (right side)? A1: Yes you do, so make sure you don’t use a rare, epic or legendary weapon for that Q2: I’m fusing an assault weapon. Do I need other assault weapons to fuse to? A2: No, you don’t. Any weapon with the same number of stars than your current weapon will work, no matter which type or rarity Q3: Ok, I’m want to fuse a 3 star weapon to get the 4 star. Do I need weapons with 3 or 4 stars? A3: You need 3 weapons with 3 stars Q4: The only weapons I have to fuse are from different levels, does it matter? A4: No, it does not matter, as long as they have the same number of stars. Warning! note: if you have a maxed weapon, maybe you want to star up that one instead of fusing. At the end, you spent a lot of time and metal to max it, right? Q5: My 3 star fodder weapon is level 1, but the one I want to star up is level 20, does it matter? A5: No, actually using the lower possible level is wiser should you want to keep upgrading your weapons Q6: I cannot fuse because I don’t see weapons on the right. I have plenty of bolts and metal. What do I do? A6: Use common weapons to get starts quicker and cheaper. 1 star common weapons, often dropped from normal crates are the cheapest to boost and star up. Use them as fodder Q7: I fused the wrong weapon. It was a Legendary one. I want it back. How do I do? A7: Bad luck, it’s now lost forever. Only weapons which cannot be used as fuse material are those equipped in either gunship or troops Q8: I’m fusing a 3 star gunship sniper. Do I need 3 other gunship snipers? A8: No, it does not matter which weapon you use, as long as they have the same number of stars. Q9: Does fusing higher level weapons provide better stats? A9: No. Only number of stars of the other weapons matter irrespective of level, rarity or type of weapon. Q10: Does fusing higher rarity provide better stats? A10: No. See Q9 above. Q11: I have one more star, but my stats remain the same. What’s going on? A11: There are 2 main ingredients you need to fuse: more weapons with the same number of stars and metal. If you don’t have the required amount of metal, even if you have the weapons to fuse, it will not let you fuse Q12: Button is red but I have metal, what’s wrong with that? A12: Make sure you selected as many weapons on the right side as stars your current weapon has. For example, a 3 star weapon fused to get 4 stars requires 3 weapons with 3 stars each Q13: Do I need bolts to fuse? A13: No, only metal and other weapons Q14: Anyway, how do I get more bolts? A14: There are three ways to get more bolts: From completing missions From crates (except elite ones) By scrapping other weapons (see Q16) Q15: Do stats increase after fusing? A15: No. They increase when you level up. Q16: What is the difference between SCRAPping and FUSEing? A16: SCRAPping is destroying a weapon to get bolts, which are needed to boost weapons. FUSE adds another star to your weapon allowing you to keep boosting for 10 more levels. Q17: What weapon do I fuse first? A17: Your auto-cannon of choice. Usually the better one you have available (more rare) Q18: Do stars make my ground troops stronger? A18: Yes, they do. Consider boosting and adding stars to your ground troops as they will become stronger and have less problems to survive those 30 seconds to evacuation of hell Q19: Can I get higher rarity FUSEing? A19: No. Weapons stay in the same rarity. Q20: I have the same weapon with 3 *** and 1 *, which one I FUSE first? A20: That’s a good one: it would seem that the 3 *** is better but actually, it isn’t. All that matters is the level of the weapon and if both are level 1, they have the same identical stats. Moreover, the cost in metal per level boosted depends on the stars and rarity of the weapon. Getting from level 1 to level 2 in a 3 *** weapon is much more expensive than in a 1 * weapon I will be adding more Q&A if I see them asked often in the community hub
  16. I cannot say, but I have reached it a couple of times on the previous event. Based on my current inventory, fusions and scraps, it should be around 80-100 weapons (I'm currently 69). @Nikko could you please confirm?
  17. My SNPR25 takes down a titan with 3.5k damage. Actually takes down all titans in the pack if they are close enough. My best shot has been 3 down in one hit. I'm sure that should I had a 2.5k one, it would have worked too. For a missile or a cannon, it would be 2x or more, unless you hit it very precisely in its feet, the radius effect does not damage them that much. If they are in a pak, you will likely need two rounds. There are a couple of big differences when it comes to titans. Apart from damage, one is that snipers have unlimited ammo, and in a very tough map with 7 or 8 of them there would be no problem taking them down even one at a time. With missiles you need to check how many you have available, maybe you just run out of them. However, missiles are more flexible as they can be successfully used against impalers and large packs of shamblers, or destroy several buldings at once. The other is that while firing them, all other weapons are locked. While with the sniper you don't need to fully zoom in, with the missile you need to wait until detonation, which might be between 0.5 and 1.5 seconds longer. Because of my drops, I mostly use snipers. I'm quite accustomed to the zoom and target, and unlimited ammunition. But it all comes to your drops and your gameplay style. EDIT: tried with a 2.3k missile and in 2 occasions out of 5 I killed the titan, carefully aiming at the creature feet
  18. I have seen some amazing numbers here from @Primathon and @tpenn and others, so I decided to give an easier try at how much resources you can amass every day. I will be adding bolts after playing each mission the following days, but please feel free to add your own data here. Next time you drop a level 1 epic or legendary weapon, which total costs can be guesstimated in the range of 600k to 1200k metal, you can see how long do you need to play to max them or boost to your level of convenience. Or when you rank up and level up your HQ and need to upgrade your buildings. Metal (for weapons) Starting with metal, which I think is the most interesting resource for all of us and if all buildings are successfully looted: Silencio Heights (8 maps) Hard: 9040 Medium: 6040 Easy: 3440 North County (9 maps) Hard: 13050 Medium: 8685 Easy: 4950 Grey Valley (10 maps) Hard: 17700 Medium: 11800 Easy: 6800 Interstate (10 maps) Hard: 26200 Medium: 17500 Easy: 10000 Per day, that's 135205 metal if I added up the numbers right. Plus 7 ads at 2250 each (15750), 150955 metal per day, playing all missions in all difficulty levels and watching all ads. Supplies (for base buildings, defensive towers, mortars) In terms of maps and scenarios, the assumptions of the Metal apply equally. If all buildings are successfully looted: Silencio Heights (8 maps) Hard: 7520 Medium: 5200 Easy: 3200 North County (9 maps) Hard: 10170 Medium: 7020 Easy: 4320 Grey Valley (10 maps) Hard: 13200 Medium: 9100 Easy: 5600 Interstate (10 maps) Hard: 18800 Medium: 13000 Easy: 8000 Per day, that's 105130 supplies. Plus 7 ads at 1700 each (11900), 117030 supplies per day, playing all missions in all difficulty levels and watching all ads. Time For the sake of the exercise, let's assume you spend average 2 minutes in each map including the 30 seconds evac, that's 4 hours playing every day. If that's 2:30 minutes, then it would be 5 hours. If you need 3 minutes instead, that's 6 hours. [Edit note: thanks @Slaughterhouse for the corrections]
  19. Not possible. It will work between devices using the same platfrom: iOS or Android, but not between them. Good to have it implemented though!
  20. Are you using the same device, a different one? Did you reset?
  21. I do use now 4 scouts, but that has been happening to me with all combinations, maybe because there was always at least one scout in there and their splash effect is too, well, splashy. Hope this helps the devs to fix it
  22. Those other two during beta were indeed there but locked to 600 and 700 stars, which was impossible to get (and now there are A and B missions, back then only A missions), so it was basically a placeholder for "future maps here". I don't remember if they even had names? Will check my screenshots.
  23. Good feedback. I think none of us measured that way until Nightman posted, but all of us here during beta wondered where the advantages of the loot bonus were really. I also think that the false impression people have that the scouts go faster is mainly due to the fact that they only stop to fire enemies coming on the front, and when they are really close as shotgun range is the smallest of all weapons, or from the back if they are hit. All the others do stop more often because their ranges are higher. Now that I have all shotguns on level 35+, I only use scouts, they survive the 30 seconds of death before evac, so I'm good. But it's a pity that after developing so many weapons, creating 3D renders and all that, it's all about scouts. Granted, if you have 4 legendary weapons at the same level you can probable fare as good too, but still, why spend metal on boosting anything if those 4 kids will do each and every time? There is no competitive advantage on using any other troop for me, and boosting to those levels would take ages.
  24. Well, it IS a beast even at level 38. And to see how it looks like at level 60, just check @LegendaryCrate's picture a few posts above.
  25. Well, if it's a legendary one, it's legendary after all! Perhaps I misunderstood the whole think and RNG stands for Really Nasty Grinds or Randomly Negating Gameplay (not mine, borrowed from a forum, but applicable)
