You don't really need those changes: get appropriate fights by dropping/rising trophies,
if you really need to skip a fight in rare cases, log off and wait a few minutes for your
session to expire, then you get a new opponent.
If Flare puts more festival currency into the chests, you can be sure they increase the
cost of items accordingly, so that would be a non event ;)

AUGH!! yuck...flare PLEASE change the festivals...they are so unfair...I haven't faced one base that I have gotten 2 crowns on in over 2d...really? come on...it's stupid...I faced a base with only necromancers in it...There were basically One BILLION skeletons by the time I got to 1 crown (2 Necroes in each wave)...you have to change the festivals...this is a major problem...please make them fairer and based on bases that only players at the kings level would face...that means that I (level 89) should NOT be facing bases that players at level 100-110 have.

PS: I want to stop the stupid replies by some of the people here that say "drop trophies"....NO, this festival I have not gained more than 10 trophies since the last...and this one is WAY harder than the last

well, 2 ogres and 2 werewolves aren't possible since wave morale is limited to 45, and it would otherwise add upto 56 :D

What I would like to be changed is fairer medals plus currency and no festival during war seasons. Plus give us the cof at the end of a raid. 

Lately I often get 34 medals for bases that are close to impossible, while sometimes for open bases 1000+ medals are given. I already hide extreme lower than I use to be in trophies, so bases should be doable. Still I sometimes get bases with witch doctor, mad monks, tempest towers and every possible boost. And when you raid, you don't get far. That can happen, but when such a suicidal base gives only 34 medals, I think there is something not correct.

I also would like to get rid of the random presents/currency. I don't like the casino effect. When being 'unfortunate' you can be happy to get around 300 presents, while being absolutely fortunate (I found once 3 uber presents plus one legendary) you can gain even more than 1000 presents. Just give 500-600 presents per day, then I can calculate how many items I possibly can buy.

AwesomestKnight, check the weak stats of necromancers. Piercing damage. So either archers or arbs (frenzies) will do the trick to get rid of them quite fast. I know that the skeletons can be a problem, but blazing knights handle them quite well and a blizzard almost sends them to the graveyard, just wear egg aura and go close to them after firestorm or a blizzard. I know they can be annoying, but still you should be able to reach at least one crown that way.

Wolf plus ogre also you should weapon yourself against. A well forged blizzard should kill most boosted wolves one shot and then the ogres are not a real treat. Frenzies kill them from far away. KKStar is right, max morale is 45. Maybe a wolf from another wave just comes close, but even two wolves plus two ogres is no real problem. 

During all festival raids I have faced many bases that seemed to be impossible, still don't give up and try. Until now just two bases were out there where I failed to get a single crown. And both were my own fault, first I raid with farm gear to save bread. And.... I was too impatient and rushed forward, resulting in saying goodbye to troops plus a dead king. If you can't score a single crown quite often, you should do something about it.

Don't complain, ACT! And what you can do is max the spells plus troops you use, plus forge all stats of them to quite high values. 

If that isn't helping, then it's not what you want to hear, but drop trophies to make the bases more easy. Remember that during war season teams will activate defensive boosts and could benefit from season boosts. This could be in your disadvantage now during festival raids. The combination of boosts can be a real challenge.

I would give it  try as you can double you gold as get some expensive upgrades done.

One hundred trophies less may be enough so that's a easy amount to get or get rid of.

Note... I do get your frustration though its a challenge and you get unlimited tries. 

I find there are ones below my level at my level and woefully above. so its challenging and annoying but still better than mindlessly easy.

That doesn't matter, because the wolves are way too fast and never would come in the same wave as the ogres ;)

2 ogres and 2 wolves come from different waves, 24 + 32, let's say wave 1 and 2. Can be a medium player. But it
only gets hard, when they are high level + forged, which normally isn't the case for medium level players.

I also noticed this. "Crazy" bases during the last day(s). As these weren't showing up a few days ago
at around the same trophy level, this must be because of the current war:
Players have defensive boosts during war times and they may deliberately lose trophies or are hammered
down by attacks from other alliances. Then you may get them as a festival base ...

Well yes :P They're a pain when you've yourself not got Ogres and Wolves in offense.
But in dungeons it isn't the case, you have 5 necros in 1 wave :D

Which one? I didn't count (but only have done the first 2 new, currently digging :D).

I have try just for fun and omg so much crazy. Same at 2900 trophy I have the impression to face base in 5000+ trophy range. It's crazy I cannot move anywhere. If the festival are at the same moment of the War Season that explain the crazyness of the base we face during Festival. However don't forget Flare make the Necromancer even more insane and totally unbalanced if you face a low or medium player who have join a Level 65+ alliance with Witch Doctor.

Thank we have infinite try without no restriction but still it's not really fair for low and mid player who face that kind of base

I think Flare should not make base based on Player like matchmaker but more like Olympus Rising with the Odyssey, more like NPC Base with difficulty level. Festival should be not based on any player base to be fair for everyone because of the fact you can find really hard base all the time.

If Festival can be more like NPC events with the same rewards I guess that would be more fair this way and not have the problem with the worst random opponent

Remember that if flare did make the maps themselves or even make a map generator, they'd still have to put in more time than they're likely willing to. The battles used to be great, most were fairly easy but you had to pay attention or you'll get caught in a rough situation. Some were difficult but doable. Now they're all near impossible. 

You can drop trophies and get easier battles but if you do, you'll easily get them back, especially in war. So to me that's not so much a solution as a temporary work around. They also reduced rewards; that's a cheap move along side making the battles vastly harder.

The Festival is fairly good. For me, I think I would like the following added (but I am not really complaining):

1) Keep the 24 hour new chest per day but extend the time to do the battles to 48 hours. If I do not complete the chest in one day, then it should be possible to continue next day and immediately receive next chest. (With this it should be possible to do no chest on one day and do 2 chest the next day)

2) If your king dies, it should be the end of the festival war for that day. (You will loose a chest)

3) The ultimate rewards you fight for need to be changeable, make it possible to re-roll the rewards. Sometimes I do not like any of the rewards and is then forced to go for a pet.

4) Give a free pet if your king is able to survive all battles during the festival.

5) When you battle in the festival, let it be a base from another player and not a Flare pre-designed base. A player can submit his base a week before the Festival for inclusion. If his base is selected for the festival - he will receive 100 gems. 

(These are just a few ideas. As I said - I like the festivals)

Sorry but I like none of these. Especially 2 (99% of players have it way too hard to not die in any of the battles) and 1 (people might not be able to do the festival one day so they can make it up the next). They already do 5, the bases are from players, not flare. 

Edit: thought you suggested in num 1 to get rid of having a make up day. As awesomest said, this is already there.

Long time this feature are in the game since the first festival with the Yeti Festival in January 2017. When you miss 1 chest you have a second chance the day after to do 2 chest but if you miss more like 3,4 or 5 days. you can gain only 2 chest when you do the festival

Thanks for the clarification @Warriornator and @AwesomestKnightest. I then suppose I like the Festivals as they are.
