    The logical answer of the question is "wanting help from one of my idle worker" . They worked a lot for years, at least one of them would have an oppurtunity to get some joy... But this answer is not enough funny to bring me the winner title of the contest. So, I would like to want help from my TREBUCHET, it can help me to send great snow to build where ever i want. Also we can play snow ball when job done... But defense stance forbidden of course... I dont want to give it more accuracy 🤣 @Madlen btw when i saw your picture thay you put at title: i joined the game and zoomed my base, to see " there is snowman exist at my base or not.     I think we’re at the point where a better/more accurate measure of player strength isn’t just a nice idea, it’s actually necessary. The matchmaking has gotten too complicated for level/trophies.

    @Triarius you’re on my map right now, on one of the inner (easy) islands. This is purely a guess, but I think this might be what’s happening: because you’re high level (top 5% or better) and lower trophies, you slot in to a bad niche. You match with other high level players, but you also fit the requirements for the easy inner islands (lower than average trophies for your level). Every player who is over 130 right now and active is grinding like crazy to get gold, and you’re on a lot of their maps. You need to be on their maps because of the requirements to have easier enemies on the inner islands. On top of this, you have what looks to be an older-style defense and low trophies. Nobody is afraid to attack you. I’ll check you right now and give some feedback, but most players know how to approach that style of defense. this could be a matchmaking flaw or “bug”, but I think you could fix it by changing your defense and powering through to bring your trophies up to an average level. Follow up: I think a different defense might help. I know that easier enemies on the island map was loudly called for over the past 6 months, and the devs are excellent to listen to their customers and try to please everyone, but this change might have some unintended negative consequences.

    Research - seriously?

    What is the point in: 1 - Starting with a single option everyone has to research? It's wasted resources, might as well reduce movement costs by 30% as game default. 2 - Having "reduce cooldown of hero movement by x%", when cooldown is only seconds/minutes long? 3 - As it is, we can only research 3 to 5 techs total, depending on commitment of players donations. Tech 3 will only start researching on day 3 probably. Great job on allowing us different research-based strategies. 4 - Anyone that dumps money into the game can research bottom line and auto-win with attack perks. gj overall

    Extra button in attack

    Hi,I want suggest you to add button in attack to choose which thing we wanna our units attack. Before we get to the gate choose between building/enemy units. At gate we choose between gate/statue and enemy units.

    @NaN That explains why my islands keep getting cleared, but not why I'm being attacked dozens, maybe hundreds of times a day in the first place. (By the way, I woke up again this morning with all islands empty and the attack log full of raids every 5 or 10 minutes. It's impossible for me to keep any hero on any island due to the non-stop attacks). @dumpster That might explain why this is happening, but if that's really how this system works then it's completely unacceptable. There's no good reason why one player, especially one in low ranks like me, should be subjected to this many attacks. I should be free to gather resources, build improvements and enjoy the game without caring about the trophy ladder. Right now it's almost useless for me to even log in and I'm forced to wonder whether there's any point in me continuing to play this game.

    The thing is, he's talking about a different problem (or a different part of the same problem). He's complaining about getting swamped because he has too many trophies at low ascension level. However, I have relatively few trophies and high ascension level and I STILL get slammed. Most of them don't take many points, but even with -2 per attack it's death by a thousand cuts, and some do take a lot on top of that. In any case, the core problem is that the overall volume of the attacks is just insane. Bottom line: something is seriously screwy here.

    I think finding a happy medium between the players who log on to kill a little time and have some fun, and those who have no lives except to obsess over RR2 all day long is the trick. Both groups have every right to play and have legitimate complaints if there's too much/not enough to do. Most of us fall somewhere in between those two extremes and for many of us, we try to do our best but can't possibly be on as much as the game is starting to demand of us. The Conquest, as it is set up, should be it's own game- period. It is SO different from the usual RR2 gameplay that it confuses many or defeats the reason we started playing this game. It's supposed to be a "diversion" from life, not a JOB. Those of us with actual jobs, family, friends, kids, etc. need some time to ourselves, too. That's the reason we started playing this game- it was a fun little "me time" thing to do and after about a half-hour or so, we could get back to reality. Now, it's so time consuming, it's ridiculous! It's become a social experiment to see how well we can work together and communicate as a team to accomplish our goals. Which, in theory is fine, but let's be realistic- this is a GLOBAL game. We do our best to communicate, but it's very difficult with some languages and translators only do so much. If they want to make a GLOBAL game, they need to make it user-friendly. Otherwise, it's no different than throwing a proverbial grenade in a room and watching us all lose our minds trying to figure out how to get rid of it before it goes off. The game has deviated from it's roots too far. Conquest should be RR3. RR1 was a single-person game. RR2 is a team game. Why couldn't they have brought out Conquest as a separate entity? At least run it by focus groups if they want to make it such an integral part of the game! Work the kinks out of it, give it what it needs, and THEN begin the social experiment. CQ/War/Ninja/CQ/War/Ninja is just laziness. Give us a week between CQ and the wars at least. If people complain because they're bored, then go outside and take a walk or something. Not everyone wants to be online 24/7. Flare has to decide who they want to alienate- the small amount of people who complain because they want something to do or the large amount of people who want it to just be a game, not a job. There are other things to do if you're bored, but you can't magically find more time to just play a game. Conquest once a quarter would be best in my opinion. Wars and Ninjas alternate weeks. or with one off in between. Let the conquest be a special event, not a routine.

    ❄️Last year I made my first snowman with the huge help of special group of Sirens. Yes,I love snow so much,but it was so difficult for me to approach it,especially when you pull a big fireball behind your chariots.Snow would melt into a puddle faster than Icarus wings did. So,I asked for help one special coven of Sirens.These frosty ladies made a circle around the lifeless pile of snow,sang and screamed to it and then the miracle happened.One happy and friendly snowman came into the life!He had a little snow storm above his head to keep him alive during summer! We will do this again this year,make another snowman and a friend to this songful fellow.❄️ IGN:HeliosForce

    Game Tips

    While not a bug, the "tips" that appear during the game have not been updated since the WAR SEASON model was introduced. One of the tips (see image) says "war blessings can only be prolonged until the end of the next war". With the WAR SEASON model, the word "season" needs to be added to the end of this tip to make it correct.

    Only 3 Alliances in our Conquest???

    Is this a bug? Why are there only 3 Alliances in our Conquest. One corner empty (opposite corner of us), and my alliance is the unlucky one who got stuck between the other 2 alliances. So they have lots of territory to build, claim, and move easily, but we have to fight both to get anywhere. No way we can claim any stone resource that is that far away with waterways and two alliances free to move through opposite unopposed corner. Never want to be in this situation again!

    These events are occurring too often.. The memories the last conquest is still fresh and a new conquest is here and what is more horrible is next war will start just 2-3 days after it ends.. I know you have informed that you will follow this cycle of con-war-ninja but now it feels too much overdose. We have real lives too. If you will continue with this frequency then very soon everyone will get tired of RR2. Even those players will run away who are enjoying it very much ( count me in this group). Next war must be postponed

    I have the same problem. Since the update I have to reinforce my heroes with dias because otherwise it is impossible to play. even hades and zeus are thrown from their islands. Without dias, my heroes are sent back so often that I do not even have enough ambrosia to send them out again

    I think the last few changes to the trophy system and matchmaking have been unsuccessful. They should have left it alone after they changed the -25 max to a -15 max. It was working very well then. But you can’t fault them for trying to make everyone happy. They do listen to complaints.

    there was a change before where the devs wanted to do a favour - they made it possible for lower level players to attack higher levels/trophies(?). and that caused problems too and people reported this. maybe they took this back now or made changes into the other direction, idk. whatever it was, devs should always be able of checking the modifications and predict behaviours of the system. if things like this occur, then another solution has to be found and in the meantime exclained why it is not possible to do so. i have also a feeling like the change was also done to guarantee that high level players when they raise up fast that they still can farm in autoplay and do not matched so often against each other like they should. this is the oposite of the medail, which might or might not be true. edit: that should not be an offence, i was just thinking if there might also be another reason than just pointing to a group...

    I think their new model is to do bigger updates less often. It probably has something to do with the size of their team and trying to avoid getting caught in cycles of constantly fixing bugs on the fly and never being able to make progress on the next update. That seemed to be a big issue in the past.

    hey there. @Tomaxo gave some links in the november Q&A section regarding to hero returns (i still try to understand some things / try to find reason for the increasing attacks some have right now) in https://forums.flaregames.com/topic/42750-fake-oponient/?do=findComment&comment=200745 C.M. explains: "There are two things which affect how often a Hero is sent back: How many times attackers successfully defeat you. How many Heroes you already have back at Mount Olympus (the more Heroes you have on islands, the less attacks it takes to send one back). Nothing else affects this." and in https://forums.flaregames.com/topic/34950-attacking-enemies/?do=findComment&comment=130939 he said: "Not every player who attacks you will correspond to what you see on your map. The players on your map are matchmade onto islands you have lost, but are not necessarily people who attacked you. A new player is matchmade onto an island if there was a Hero on it and you were beaten enough times to send the Hero back to Mount Olympus. A new player is also matchmade onto an island where no Hero is protecting it, if you have held it for a long enough time. The Battle Log is an accurate list of everyone who has attacked you. Your island map is not an accurate representation of who attacked you." So: if the Battle Log is an accurate list of everyone who has attacked me and a hero is sent back if enough times attackers successfully defeat me, one of those attackers is responsible for the return ticket of a hero. (so this attacker could also be marked just for information if FG want this to implement), right? (and if the length of the battle log (last 20 raids) is long enough to see all attackers... i dont think this is the case atm ...) So: because of the changes in the game atm (new levels, everyone farms AND on the inner 8 islands it is way easier to farm right now) you have more attacks and therefore your heroes are sent home more often. (i assume the number of successful attackers that leads to a free ride is an absolute number not a number of attacks per time interval...). but: both changes are more in advance of high level and high troph players, right? and why more than once it is possible to get successfully attacked (or you can do it also) within a short period of time? (~5min to 2h ... why e.g. not only once per 24h possible?). and i have the feeling that because of the mysterious match-making atm low level troph players suffer more. i mean i am lvl132 and between 21k and 22k and i have some more raids (heros are sent back 1-2 times a day now, before update nearly nothing). it is a bit harder to hold troph level now, but i have no idea how to hold / get trophs more than 30k unless match making is in favour to this or you use gems or you play a lot more than i do (already ~30-40h a week, which i think is too much for what i get / can achieve) - i hope they implement some player statistics soon... @Triarius i dont want to find excuses why you are affected so heavily. (remark: trophy system and its relation to other things is kind of frustration generator for quite some time now )

    Most of my map is always low-value targets, always has been. Still, with very aggressive attacking I managed to climb into the top 1000 a while back to unlock the fourth Artemis power, but I took a break from the ladder after reaching that goal. After that they changed attack scoring. Ever since then, whenever I've tried to climb the ranks it's felt like one step forward, two steps back in that I'll always make 100-200 points over a day or two and then lose it all overnight. I've basically just given up on it entirely, and most of the time it's pretty peaceful, but every now and then I get randomly bombarded for a few days. It's never been this bad, though.

    The only thing that I can think of is that you have too few trophies for your level and it’s throwing everything off. At least most-everyone should be worth 15 for you!

    It's not only against the GK. On Auto-play, Artemis always casts Piercing Venom first as soon as she sees enemies, even though they're out of range. Very frustrating. This is another good answer from dumpster: "In the early days of the game it was almost always the correct choice to use autoplay over manual play. The AI was faster, more accurate, and made fewer mistakes than the average manual player. It was a little odd in that way, and not how the dev team envisioned the game being played. If you look at the heroes that were introduced most recently, Ajax and Artemis, they’re almost impossible to play in auto. This is a deliberate design choice also. I don’t think the devs want the game to be played on Auto."

    My humble opinion: 1- Heroe Cooldown is indeed a useless tech now, paying around 16k wisdom for it feels like a rip-off 2- Having just one tech as starting point is strange too 3- Wisdom costs are still way too high, we've been pointing this out for several conquests already and still it doesn't get changed, and you're doing something wrong by ignoring it. I still think the tech tress are totally wasted due to this, you can make creative tech trees if you want, but it doesn't matter if teams end up researching only 5 technologies. In my team we have level 7 university and there were a couple of technologies costing half of our total capacity...

Lets be honest, who (male) wouldn’t want the chance to be embarrassed with a slap on the face, after asking that woman on a date to build snowman in the cold together... only to be turned into one of her troops anyway, which is really what you wanted in the firsl place. To be her slave and serve her! There is a greek saying... «it’s cold, time for two»... unfortunately, cold doesn’t rime with two, so it doesn’t sound so good in English, the result for the slap...

    IGN: Dena4 Of course the Yeti I would be the character of my choice. While the small group is building the bottom part, there comes a moment when they no longer can reach the upper part of the snowman. Then it's time to merge to be able to reach the higher part and work on that part. Of course we listen to this song But as soon as the yetis are busy building a beautiful snowman, they hear a strange sound. Fritz became jealous, turns into a snowball and before they know what's happening, he buried their snowman into the ground. The yetis are disappointed and say oh no. What happened, where did our snowman go? Then they hear Fritz laughing and they scream very hard. What's the matter with you, why did you take our snowman apart? They want to take revenge and throw a snowball in fritz his direction. They miss him completely and this will give them no satisfaction. They hit the hero instead by mistake. No this is turning into a horror scenario, it's real, no fake. He in turn is yelling, why you hit me, are you yetis getting mad? The yetis on their turn aren't happy, they become very sad. This turns into a snow battle, it turns into a huge fight. There is a lot they have to settle straight, so the snowball party goes on all night.

    One thing you might want to pass on to Chris and Sam: they might want to consider looking at the values of most of the unique items. When uniques first came out (pre-forge), they had significantly higher values than standard items. Currently they have average to below average values of a fully forged regular item. It takes away a lot of what makes them special. It might be worth looking at bringing new uniques back in line with top-end fully forged gear. It would also make getting duplicates a lot more fun.

    The order frequency of time player need for the event is Conquest ➡ War ➡ Ninja. By doing that cycle continuously player will tired fast. Players need rest from the event that taking too much time (especially conquest). Flare should know that player don't just do the event (War, Ninja, and Conquest) in this game. There are League, Pro League, Festival, etc. Don't make players tired playing the game for goodness sake. Game should entertain players, make them happy, not forcing players and make them feels tired. If you guys still apply that cycle I'm sure more players will skip certain event or even leave the game. This is a good game, don't make it bad.

    3 week cycle is too much. 4 week or even longer cycle (with not more than 1 Conquest per cycle!) would be better for the players. I hope Flare reconsiders this.

    I'm astonished that you seem to be able to judge this update after such a short time. It seems that I am still too ***** for that game and still am thrilled about all the new things to discover... Of course defenses will become very hard in the next few weeks, but I'm still confident that offense will catch up later. It's probably only a matter of time and a good upgrade plan.
