Live Server Update 21.11.2019 - Slight balancing changes War season

Kings and Queens,

We have just performed a Live Server Update.

With this LSU, we are introducing some slight balancing changes to the next War season. Please note that this is not our complete War season overhaul yet. This is introducing some small changes to see how these changes feel for you and potentially even further adjusting them in the future to improve on some of the feedback points you have provided us with :).

  • War Season Changes:
    • Alliances that have more fiefdoms than an Alliance they lost to will now get a slightly higher share of the Loser Bonus than before.
    • Better personal rewards starting at 100 fiefdom. These will include Rune chests. Also, all existing personal reward tables have been revised to now include Guardian chests (with 2 guaranteed Guardians). This Guardian chest replaces one of the Pal chests. The other Pal chest has been changed to now guarantee 2 Pals.

Cheers,

Hi guys, for a better overview of the changes please find below an updated version
of this old forum topic. Changes to Skull Bonus (now outdated).

As you know, the Skull-Bonus depends on the number of fiefdoms in the losing Alliance in comparison with the number of fiefdoms the winning Alliances own.
What has changed now is the part [new] from equal or up to 10, 10-20,20-30+ fiefdoms, as listed below. The rest [old] remains the same.

[New - was added with this LSU]

20 to 30+ more Fiefdoms:

The Skull Bonus for Alliances that have an 20 to 30+ more Fiefdoms will be multiplied with a multiplier of 0.33. (Or in other words, in this case the Skull-Bonus will be reduced by 67%).

10 to 20 more Fiefdoms:

The Skull Bonus for Alliances that have 10 to 20 more Fiefdoms will be multiplied with a multiplier of 0.37. (Or in other words, in this case the Skull-Bonus will be reduced by 63%).

Equal or up to 10 more Fiefdoms:

The Skull Bonus for Alliances that have an equal or up to 10 more Fiefdoms will be multiplied with a multiplier of 0.4. (Or in other words, in this case the Skull-Bonus will be reduced by 60%).

[New end]

[Old - still valid, has not changed]

Equal to 10 Fiefdoms Lower:

The Skull Bonus will be multiplied with 1.0 if the losing Alliance has a fiefdom count that is more than 10 fiefdoms lower than the fiefdom count of the winning Alliance. (Or in other words, in this case the Skull-Bonus will not be decreased or increased at all).

20 to 30 Fiefdoms Lower:

The Skull Bonus will be multiplied by 1.25 if the losing Alliance has a fiefdom count that is more than 20 fiefdoms lower than the fiefdom count of the winning Alliance. (Or in other words, in this case the Skull-Bonus will be increased by 25%).

30 or more Fiefdoms Lower:

The Skull Bonus will be multiplied by 1.5 if the losing Alliance has a fiefdom count that is more than 30 fiefdoms lower than the fiefdom count of the winning Alliance. (Or in other words, in this case the Skull-Bonus will be increased by 50%).

Scaling:

In between these values the multiplier will be scaled. For example, if the losing Alliance has a fiefdom amount of 15 fiefdoms lower than the winning Alliance, then the multiplier will be 1.125

[old end]

Thank you, and hope this helps!
