Make every forge success

It is really dumb to have forge fail. It brings uncertainty and frustration to gamers.

You have to always have double pearls to be sure.

Just make it more expensive and make is succeed every time.

I really see no point AT ALL to having it fail.

The point is that Flare gets money when someone buys gems to then get pearls and keep forging…

Yeah it is. Flare is a company, not charity fund (;

Be grateful for how it is working now. In the past 2nd try wasn’t a success, you could try for 20 times and it was still a fail.

Now the progress of forging is Success - Success - Fail - Success etc. Btw this is when you forge a thing for the first time.

Fail-Success-Fail-Success-Fail-Success… see the pattern

It fails too often. When you need 500 pearls to forge an item, and you’re pretty sure it will fail the first time, it takes too long to melt 1000 pearls

I found that on wiki :

more than 50% chance to fail from the 3rd level ? Are you serious Flare ? And from the 9th level… You may as well double the cost of pearls.

I know they need to make money whatever way they can, but this is one of the really ass**** ways :confused:

Adding + 50% cost in pearls would be much better.

The point is that the one fundamental law of this game is that everything must have a luck element. RR2 is part of the casino franchise of games and the gambling theme will never ever be removed. It is statistically proven that people will spend more money on lucky packets than on high quality products.

My opinion is that RR2 is really a gambling platform with a reverse tower defense game face. This does frustrate many - but it surely pays the bills, the salaries and the bonuses.

My advise is - do not get hooked on the lucky side.

Thanks for that POV. Makes sense. Sadly.

I do understand that people are more likely to buy gems to get pearls if they fail an expensive forge. But as I said, it makes me sad:/
