We had a live server update today.
On Friday we implemented a new trophy system to fix the problems of losing too many trophies (even against much harder opponents), but simultaneously not being able to earn very many. As with all new systems, there will be some tweaking needed to make it run smoothly.
After watching the progress over the weekend, it has become apparent that the formula is too kind to players attacking another player with a higher Ascension Level. This makes it too easy to win large amounts of trophies against players with less trophies than you, and therefore too easy to lose trophies in defense. We will smooth this out, whilst still ensuring that the previous problems remain fixed.
Those of you who have been unfortunate enough to lose a lot of Trophies over the weekend should be able to make them back quite easily, as you will now lose less Trophies, but still be able to win a lot of Trophies from the people who stole them.
