Updating OR Wiki

I’ve started updating the OR Wiki with data from @Madlen. My first task I’ve set myself is to upgrade the BARRICADE page: https://olympusrising.fandom.com/wiki/Barricade

I’ve got a couple of questions on how to do this:

  1.  how do I get rid of the shading in some of the cells? (specifically level 1 barricade has a grey shading)
  2.  how do I centre the numbers in the level column? (levels 26, 27 and 28 are left justified rather than centred)
  3.  how do I get the icons into the table? (I need them for levels 26, 27 and 28)

I haven’t been doing webpages in almost 20 years, but I know this much: Always look at the source, it can show you things, or at least the names/tools

For example the gold icon ->  30?cb=20180527141530

wisdom -> https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/olympusrisingapp/images/e/ea/IconWisdom.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/30?cb=20180527141723

health ->  30?cb=20180530131818

The source can give you also the names of the icons and so forth, so then you can use them yourself. What I also do, in such cases, is copy paste the previous line, and then just change the numbers. It’s easier. Im not sure how it works, but if you got those numbers there, it shouldn’t be harder than what I’ve told you here.

Keep it up!

Hey tjgarland,

I wish I have some free time to give you a hand, but I prefer reserving that time to raid.  :grinning:

I would keep the gray shading when the upgrade cost is Free or the upgrade time is Instant, like on this page:

https://olympusrising.fandom.com/wiki/Shrine_of_Power

To edit the source code:

Let’s compare lvl 1 and lvl 2:

#ccc is the HTML code for gray

Let’s compare lvl 25 and lvl 26:

lvl 26 would be edited like so:

| style=“text-align: center;”|26 |{{PerkIconHealth}} 138,690 |{{IconGold}} 5,600,000 {{IconWisdom}} 15,500 |{{IconTime}} 7d

To insert an icon/picture:

I believe the icons are already in the gallery in PNG format.

Hope that helps.

Some prefer the visual/WYSIWYG editor, I prefer the source editor.

Thanks - I’ve done that and I’ve now successfully updated the BARRICADES table. Thanks.
